Invitation
The Bone and Tooth Society annual meeting
for 2002 will be held in Cardiff one of Europes youngest
capitals, and largely a creation of the 19th and 20th centuries
when it became the busiest coal-exporting port in the world. The meeting
will be held in the City Hall, part of the neo-Classical Civic Centre
which is an architecturally magnificent collection of white stoned
buildings set in parklands, but close to the centre of the city. There
will be three plenary guest lectures, as well as symposia on:
- Collagen disorders
- Current versus future therapies
- Models for studying skeletal function
- Growth hormone and bone
In addition, there will be the usual opportunity
for presentations by members. The annual dinner will have a Welsh flavour
and will be in the new Millennium Stadium which dominates the city
centre skyline.
So, come along and help make it a successful
meeting, and sample the hospitality and "croeso" in our Capital
City.
