PhD Scholarships 2015 – NEW AND REDEVELOPED
A limited number of prestigious PhD Scholarships are offered to encourage the best science graduates to embark on a research career in any discipline with relevance to arthritis and related musculoskeletal diseases. Applications are particularly encouraged from those aspiring to join the next generation of talented independent investigators interested in developing ambitious, interdisciplinary and innovative approaches to health and biomedical research.
Following a recent redevelopment of these awards up to 4 years funding will be offered to successful applicants, which includes a generous tax-free incremental stipend, UK tuition fees only and improved running costs.
Applications are invited from proposed supervisors with named students for projects that have clear relevance to the aims of Arthritis Research UK, and which will provide training in research in a multidisciplinary environment. Scholarships will be awarded by open competition for PhDs starting in October 2015. Due to funding regulations applicants must be based in the UK.
Further information is available from our website on the PhD Scholarships page or from the Research Department (tel 0300 7900 403).
Application forms may be downloaded approximately 3 months before the deadline date and the process on how to apply is available by clicking the APPLY button below.
