Invitation

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2003 annual meeting of the Bone and Tooth Society in Sheffield. The meeting will be held in the excellent facilities of Sheffield Hallam University, close to the centre of the city.

As you will see, our keynote speakers will come from a variety of disciplines and are of international standing. We hope you will find their presentations enlightening and informative. There will be plenary lectures as well as symposia on:

  • Parathyroid hormone and Vitamin D
  • Parallels between vascular and skeletal biology
  • New hormonal actions
  • Insights from rare diseases

There will be a debate on the ethical aspects of clinical trials, as well as the usual opportunity for presentations by members. This will not be an all-work-and-no-play meeting. We are planning an exciting annual dinner with a true Sheffield flavour. This will be held in the historic Cutlers’ Hall, a prestigious venue dating from 1832, with a grand interior and an imposing home for a superb collection of silver.

So, come along and help make it a successful meeting.

See you in Sheffield!
