Target audience:
PhD students and postdocs and PIs and funders interested in their career development

Topics to be covered:
This short informal session is designed for both non-clinical and clinical PhD students and Post-docs in their early research career. Recently appointed and experienced independent researchers, Fellows and representatives from specific funding agencies will help highlight different routes toward successfully shaping a future career in skeletal biology research.

Goals:
Gaining a realistic appreciation of the possibilities and the difficulties in achieving independence in a relatively small, highly interdisciplinary and generally underfunded (at least by research councils) research area.
